Etter en sommer full av eventyr dro æ i høst til Langesund for å rydde olje etter "Full city" ulykka.

I høst begynte æ å jobbe som trainee for havforskningsinstituttet, blei oppgradert til avdelingsingeniør i November. Jobbe for ett prosjekt som heter 'Mareano' de jobber med å kartlegge havbunnen i Norge. I September va vi på tokt med G.O Sars (forskningsbåt) og filma havbunnen samt at vi også tok prøva fra havbunnen. Det var deilig å være på havet igjen fordet om bølgene va STOR (10-11 meter)

Det æ gjør nu i ettertid e å gjennomgå alle videoene å registrere det vi ser. Blir mye pc arbeid noe som gjør at æ e helt skutt når æ kommer hjem om dagene, men har begynt å jogge så det hjelper på.

Det blei også en tur til Canada der æ deltok på en sjøpattedyr konferanse (society of marine mammology). Fikk presentert resultatene mine fra masteroppgaven samtidig fikk æ møtt mange forskere fra hele verden. Det va både spennende og lærerikt. Quebec city va helt fantastisk, masse nydelige høstfarger.

Ellers så har høsten gått fort, mye som har skjedd. Har bl.a blitt kjent med en mann fra Skottland (Ewan Edwards) som jobber nede på Bird Island i Antarktis. Vi blei kjent i September og han holder mæ oppdatert på ka de gjør der nede. Hadde faktisk søkt på stillinga hannes, og siden æ ikke fikk den så bestemte æ mæ for å sende han en mail å spørre kordan kvalifikasjona han hadde som ikke æ hadde. Etter det så har vi holdt kontakt hver dag. Spennende.
Jula var også bra, tilbringte den sammen med mamma, Stian og Arild (mammas kjæreste). Fin nyttårsaften med masse gode venner. Nu e det snart midten av Januar og i dag fikk min gode venninne Lisa ei lita jente. Kjempestolt "tante" i Tromsø.
Har troen på at dette året kommer til å bli kjempebra. Det beste året på lenge. Forhåpentlig full av drømmer og kjærlighet.

Im sorry for not updating my blog in a while. This fall has been busy and so the beginning of the winter. After an exciting summer I went down to Langesund to clean oil from the boat "Full city". It was mostly to work for WWF and I learn alot doing it. After Langesund I started working as a trainee for the institute of marine research and that included a trip out on the ocean sampling marine invertebrates. Lots of waves (see the video). After being on the ocean I went to Canada, Quebec city for a marine mammal conference. It was very exciting and interesting meeting new people. Speaking of meeting people I have been in contact with a handsome scottish man named Ewan Edwards, he is working for the British Antarctic Survey and on an island called Bird Island. Exciting meeting up with him since I actually applied for his position, but I am still in Norway meaning that I didnt get it. Its ok. Christmas and New Years was good spending it with my mom, brother and my moms boyfriend Arild.
I hope this year will be fun and full of dreams and loooove.
